Heat-Inactivated Chicken Serum is produced from standard chicken serum obtained from healthy chickens intended for human consumption. After allowing the blood to clot and removing fibrinogens, the serum undergoes centrifugation and filtration, followed by controlled heat treatment (56 °C for 30 minutes) to inactivate complement proteins that may interfere with sensitive cell culture applications.
The serum retains all proteins not involved in blood clotting, along with electrolytes, antibodies, antigens, hormones, and other essential constituents. Each step, from serum collection to final packaging, is carefully monitored to ensure consistent quality and safety.
